I'm currently in the throes of applying for work experience at Anifex, the company that does the Schmackos ad and heaps of cool short films. Special thanks to Will's insane ability to find obscure animation companies on the net!
On their site I found some websites that look pretty good:
Stop Motion Magazine: www.stopmotionmagazine.com
Stop Motion Works: www.stopmotionworks.com
Stop Motion Animation: www.stopmotionanimation.com
Animate Clay: www.animateclay.com

Matte "Painting"
Narrative layout from Gorey on Vimeo.
This is my multi-layered background.. After Effects is awesome.
Note: It's almost as if YOU are the pigeon. That was a fluke!

Animating Lies!
Frank's lesson on affectation and sub-conscious gestures was cool, so I found some links on how to animate a lie.
I'm not sure why this subject inerests me so much. Maybe because it's a lie in a lie on paper... or somethin...

Bill Plympton!
This guy is an insanely good animator. I first saw his stuff in the mid-nineties, but had since forgot his name... I asked Frank and he knew straight-away! He then charged me with the task of doing some research and inspiration-hunting, as I am planning on doing my narrative in a traditional/funkadelic coloury style.
This is what I found...
How awesome are these shorts?? Plus, there are hardly any backgrounds n' junk.
